Cannibal Dream of Eating Flesh
Eating a boy’s flesh
I dreamed I had committed a murder for eating the flesh of a boy whose body was kept at my friends medical shop. A doctor friend then called me to tell me, “You can have your serving”. But in the dream I get nauseated and say I won’t take any. He says I have to visit him immediately, I told him I don’t need to. Then he said I will have to deal with the problem and that I can do whatever I want with the body but I was involved in murder and will be held by police if I leave the body as it is. He tells me to consume the body so no one will know. I don’t agree and refuse but fear the police.
Main Life Issues:
Challenging job atmosphere; seeking a new job and place to live, no love life.
First instinct was thank God it was only a dream. Then I feel nauseated and frightened.
It's a story of how someone is dealing with a difficult issue that causes a lot of distress, torn between the need to hide the effects or deal with them.
Death: Often a symbol for a huge change.
Cannibal: Living off of something one should not.
Police will come: Being accountable for one's actions.
Consume the body: Hide the evidence, cover up one's actions.
What it Means:
From the dream, it sounds as if you may have gone through huge changes that left strong emotions or reactions in you, such as the death of a loved one, a betrayal, the end of a relationship, loss of a job, or loss of face in some way, etc. The dream suggests that emotional effects from such an experience may still be interfering with your life. In the dream, the doctor friend says, "deal with it" and not to pretend it never happened. The doctor is a healing voice, pointing out that you can't push pain away, your mind and feelings need to digest what happened. It may help to work with a counselor.
Bottom Line: The image suggests that the remnants of a painful, difficult event or change need to be confronted and dealt with to avoid souring your personality and affecting your future.
Thank you for your kind suggestion; obliged and regards.
