Too Dim versus Too Much Light
I Dreamed of a Lot of Plugs and Lights That Go On and Off.
My new work colleagues are standing in a very tall house with a glass front. I am sitting outside on a wooden deck looking up at them and have a four way extension cord beside me, with a plug. I unplug it and plunge my coworkers into darkness. I put the plug back into the socket and see them again. Next, I put the plug into a different socket and they are bathed in blinding light, much brighter than the previous light that shone on them. I unplug all the plugs and plunge them into darkness again, then wake up.
Frustration at not knowing where I should be.
Someone starts by seeing things as they are, then tries out different ways which results in too little, too much, then too little, again.
Plugs: What you plug into emotionally or by your actions.
Light and Dark: Extremes, seesaw results.
What it Means:
The story shows how your actions or emotions create a seesaw of extremes. A dream that shows extremes is generally an invitation to take the middle ground and accept things as they are.
Bottom Line: The dream tells you to let things be, and hence, do nothing. It suggests that by doing so, things will sort themselves out and you won’t have to work so hard at evaluations. As you accept and let it be, answers will arise naturally.
I am a worrier by nature and tend to go over situations and conversations in my head until it all seems much worse than it actually is. Your analysis pinpoints my mind’s tendency to seesaw, which I can see is counterproductive. Thank you.
