A Wonderful Boy in a Sweater With a Zig Zag Design
- Dream says new career and life will bring happiness.
A Baby Boy in a Special Blue and Red Sweater
There was a little boy of about age six on a swing, his head was tilted towards me. He had this adorable smile - a little mischievous, all loving and so cute; I knew I loved him completely. He was wearing a sweater, that looked hand knit; the top was red with a zig zag blue line near the bottom of the red and the bottom two thirds dark blue, the same blue as the zig-zag. Then the little boy started getting younger, turning from a small child into toddler, still smiling and happy. Then he became a baby, sweet, adorable, and cuddly; he was in my arms as he became smaller and younger and all this time he was wearing the red and blue sweater. Then the baby got even younger and became a fetus inside of me. I was holding just the sweater, yet that was fine, felt warm and happy.
Main Life Issues:
Career; in my mid-thirties just completed training to change careers into design, am in debt and looking for work. Also a relationship; I have a boyfriend who told me a year ago that he does not want children or marriage.
Someone sees the origins of something wonderful.
Birth: A new beginning; a creative effort.
Age six: A possible time marker as something that may have started about six years ago. To the dreamer, six-year-old's are the most fun, willing to take risks and learn and play without feeling self-conscious.
A little boy who turns into a baby: Experiencing origins of something deeply connected to self.
A swing: Something that rocks as a play on words for something great; what goes back and forth as a play on words for mulling something over as a creative process or effort.
Adorable Smile: Attraction to what one loves.
I loved the boy completely: One’s passion, complete focus.
Zig zag design element: A path that is not straight denoting something achieved with effort.
What the dream Means:
Although on occasion dreams can be a prediction of a future event such as having a child and is common with young moms, the backward sequence of this “birth of a child” negates the dream as an ESP event. Instead, it depicts a crossroads in your life; when you stand on the brink of new horizons, you can have an “epic dream” that summarizes where you are at and where you are heading. This is such an epic dream; before stepping forward, you glance back and see how far you’ve come.
Note the sweater with the zig zag element as a design. As a symbol, a sweater is something created one stitch at a time and it keeps you warm and safe; that sounds like a metaphor for a new career track built on steady, zig zag efforts taken one step at a time. And a zig zag pattern is a design element, mirroring the switch to the field of design.
The dream comes as a pat on the back and a hurray, like a woman who climbs Mount Everest and plants a flag at the top as she looks at where she has arrived. Having a child can be a long and challenging experience, as was getting to where you are in your life and career. The dream says you have arrived and have a magnificent career to show for your efforts, a path that is your passion, mirrored in the smile of the little boy you love with all your heart. In essence, your career is you child.
Bottom Line: The dream confirms that you are perfectly on track, all is well and all will work out; have no fear, and move forward as an epic dream that signals a critical turning points in your life. Record it in a special book or draw it and frame it to celebrate this mystic reminder of the achievement and wonder that lies ahead.
Your analysis resonates; as an artist, I recently switched my focus to design so the part about the zig zag design element in the sweater really hits home, and did have the idea to switch paths about six years ago. It does feel as if the dream portends good things ahead and I appreciate your generous thoughts.
