Being Chased - Scary Man Chases Me, My Daughters and Friends
A scary man is chasing me, my daughters and my friends. The chase starts from the home town I came from in the mid-West and continues to where I live now in a nearby State. I don’t know why the man chases us.
Main Life Issues:
Someone and their loves ones run from something that threatens.
Scary Man: Symbol of fears; what makes you feel vulnerable.
Being chased: A threat, feeling vulnerable.
Starts from home town I come from. A threat or fear that began long ago; a fear that originates in one’s past.
Chase that goes on and on: A long term vulnerability; a fear related to something that happened long ago and has not been dealt with.
Location where I live now: One’s present state; present circumstance.
Also chases family and loved ones: A threat or vulnerability one fears will affect those around them.
What it Means:
Being chased in a dream shows vulnerability about a specific situation or in general. The dream describes someone feeling danger for self and for those around them. With stability as a main issue, the dream says that whatever has been making you feel uneasy or vulnerable has its roots in something from the past or in your childhood.
Bottom Line: The dream tells you that if you want to feel secure, you’ll have to examine past traumas that still affect you. Pain from one's childhood or attitudes acquired when you are young can affect you for life, and if they carry a negative effect, like making you always feel anxious, it is something you need to handle. Since it is impossible to process childhood experiences on one’s own, it may be wise to find a therapist who can help.
