I Dream I am Dead
I Saw Myself as Dead
The dream starts out that I am already dead. I was handed a piece of paper to help me understand that I was dead and had died in my sleep. I start bawling my eyes out because I missed my six week old son so much and realized it had to be a dream so I kept trying blinking and pinching myself to wake up, but couldn't for a few hours. I didn't wake up until my grandfather woke me up. I was afraid I had really died.
Main Life Issues:
Stress from my son's father never helping out and continually treating us poorly, my mom not being on her pills and constantly making our lives hell; I moved in with my son's grandfather.
Someone sees themselves in a situation they don’t want to be in but can’t get out of it until someone helps them.
Death: A symbol for major change.
Seeing self dead: In this case, realizing you are not where you want to be.
Crying: Feeling the pain.
Missing baby son: Attached; wanting to be with the one you love.
Blinking and pinching to wake up: Trying to change one’s situation.
Grandfather: Person who leads the way, provides help and support.
What the dream Means:
The dream is telling you that you will need to accept change and go with the flow. You are sixteen and have a son to look after, which is a lot of responsibility; your life has gone through a lot of change and death is generally a symbol of huge change so the dream is a mirror of where you are at. It also acts like a digestion system for the conflicting feelings you experience.
Bottom Line: Start by accepting where you are at and let your grandfather help, as you learn from his caring and patience; you have many wonderful years ahead of you.
