DREAMS OF DEATH AND DYING. Example Dreams of Death and Dying and What They Mean
My Daughter Died in My Arms
I had a dream that my daughter had died in my arms. I felt terrified and scared. My daughter is seven years of age.
What the Dream Means:
Death in general is a symbol for change. Most often (95% of the time) a dream about death suggests a change. The change may be about your daughter, something in her life or attitudes. Or your daughter may be a symbol for you, with some part of yourself on the verge of changing, and you are "holding", lingering with the past version, as it transitions to a knew one. That is the most likely message.
On occasion it can be a literal ESP indication, but that is much more rare. A literal dream tends to be "exact in detail" e.g. showing exact details of what happens (e.g. an illness or a car crash). A predicative dream is not vague or general, and the emotion is much more intense than in regular dreams.
First look to see if there is anything in you (attitudes, desires, circumstances etc) that is on the verge of change, before getting scared. Unfortunately the literal does happen, but as stated, it is rare.
Dream That My Son Was Killed
My son had been killed in my dream.
What the Dream Means:
Death in general is a symbol for change so the dream likely suggests some change that will come up either literally with your son or someone around you.
On occasion it can be a literal ESP indication, but that is much more rare. If your son were a soldier for example, or someone who drinks and drives, etc, it could be more of a possibility. If a dream is literal, it dream tends to be "exact in detail" such as showing an exact car and place, not vague or general, and is much more intense.
Dead Father Gives Daughter a Warning
My sister had a dream that she was in church and my late father had told her to warn me that I’m playing with fire.
What the Dream Means:
It sounds like a direct message about not taking risks that could lead to unwanted consequences. The question is whether the dream is actually for your sister or for you. Even though her dream said it was for you, sometimes a dreamer does not want to "own" a negative message, so it "cloaks" the symbols. In other words, you may be a symbol of herself, to your sister.
This is how you will know who the message is for. Ask yourself which one of you is taking risks that could lead to unwanted consequences (e.g. having unprotected sex that could lead to a pregnancy one is not ready for, cheating in some way, trying to get away with something). See if you recognize anything like that in your life. Whoever is doing that, that is who the message is for.
