Hindu Goddess Kali
A New School and Hindu Goddess Kali
My father passed away a month ago. In the dream, I found myself talking to my dead father on the phone. I was sharing details about a great new school I found run with wonderful discipline and efficiency, even though I finished school a long time ago and have no reason to look for one in my waking life. He did not talk much but asked me to go to my uncle's place and tell him about the new school. I did so.
Because I took a different route to my uncle's home from the usual one, I lost my way. I turned back twice and the second time, I was on a different, colorful path that led to a dead end. There was a room in which a fresh mud statue of the goddess Kali was being painted with vibrant colors. The statue was very beautiful with Rudra Kali in all her glory; she was completely naked and looked absolutely vibrant. I saw the smiling faces of the priests who were working on her statue. I left the room and walked out.
In another segment, I heard my uncle telling me that my mother was ill, she had swollen feet and was very weak. I went to my mother to ask what happened and how she felt. I was irritated at the thought that, first my dad fell sick, forcing me to go through a hard time, and then he passed away. Now my mom was going to do the same thing.
Mixture of feelings, pleasant at first, worried about losing my way, happy to see Kali, irritated at mom and then worried about her.

What the dream Means:
By listening, your father acts as a support system and also gives direction to help you find your way during this transition. It was also likely an actual visit by your father, to bless and support you; such visits by the person are common when there is a bond of love. He may also be a symbol of your own strengths and the values that guide you.
A school is a symbol for the school of life. Your excitement about a new school that runs well tells you that you will soon begin a new job and new life that you will enjoy and that works well.
Losing your way with constant twists and turns mirrors the anxiety and uncertainty you currently feel. It also tells you that the answers will not come overnight; finding the new life will be a process. Yet you come upon something beautiful – the Goddess Kali – who is undergoing a vibrant change, just as you will. That is an assurance that you are on the right track. This scene also hints that keeping to your spiritual roots may be helpful.
The goddess Kali highlights the changes in your, that lie ahead. She is vibrant and in all her glory, as you will become. Her nakedness represents being able to be fully oneself and if you are single, suggests finding happiness in marriage. In the past, you may not have felt that you could be yourself at work or in life, you may not have felt vibrant. The changes in career and life that lie ahead will bring out those qualities.
However, the portrayal of your future contains a final truth. It tells you that your mother’s soul will choose to leave this earth and join your father, though it does not say when; it could be soon or a few years down the road, only her soul knows. This last segment in the dream invites you to care for her and when the time comes, let her go gracefully, as her choice and fate.
Bottom Line: This is a Signal Dream, one of 27 types of dreams and it signals a wonderful new life. When you are anxious and seek inner guidance, clear dreams arrive to point the way.
