Dangerous Wild Animals
I am walking along when I notice a lion lying nearby. Then I see a leopard, a wolf and a tiger. They are too close for comfort but have not yet noticed me. I can't believe these animals are loose around town and I am very afraid they will notice me and attack.
Scared, anxious, confused.
Main Life Issues:
Learning to act, children beginning to launch, husband retiring soon.
It is a story about potential danger or challenge in the distance, though all is well at the moment.
Animals: Often animals represent our own traits, or as in this case, can represent our fears and anxieties.
Wild animals: Metaphors for energies that can get out of control and become dangerous..
Lion: A familiar animal and as such, not dangerous. As king of the jungle, can be an image of success, what the dreamer can become as they embark on new directions such as acting.
Leopard, wolf, tiger: Wild animals that are less familiar to people can represent danger and as such, are a symbol of fears, anxieties.
Running loose: No boundaries, feeling out of control.
A potential attack: Feeling unsafe, in a vulnerable position, wanting protection.
What the dream Means:
Your life is going through major transitions. The dream suggests there are “unnamed fears” or anxieties about those changes and the wild animals are a metaphor for the danger that lurks in the distance, even though all is well right now.
Bottom Line: A dream can mirror true feelings. It presents a mirror so that you can name emotions, fears and concerns, and then handle them. The last line of your dream says it all, “I am afraid they will attack,” suggesting anxieties about the future are getting out of hand. Make a list of concerns and how you would handle them; sometimes the fears are worst than the actual events. And if there are real concerns, now is the time to prepare for options.
