Does He Love Me?
Unsure What My Man Feels About Me
Me, a man I like and my mom are in a car. My mom is driving and the man I really like is in the passenger seat, and I am sitting behind him in the back seat. He turns to me and says, "I love you, I'm tired". In my dream he is really sleepy and trying really hard to stay awake.
Surprised and worried.
Main Life Issues:
I'm not sure how new man feels about me.
Someone proclaims affection and admits to being only partially aware.
Driving: Going somewhere; metaphor of the path the relationship is on.
Mom is driving: The nurturing part of self is in charge, in control.
A passenger: Going along for the ride. In this dream, a metaphor for the new man's feelings; currently, he is simply enjoying the ride.
In the back seat: Dreamer's position in the back seat is a metaphor for how the man sees her - she is currently not his top priority.
Saying "I love you": A declaration of positive feelings.
Someone is sleepy: Being partially aware, not plugged in to what is going on.
What it Means:
Words spoken in a dream either tend to be literal or hold a large part of the message. These words of the man in your life tell you that he cares, but also that his feelings are yet been defined in his head.
Keep doing whatever you are doing, until he figures it out and his brain catches up to his feelings. When that happens, he will be able to declare his love.
Bottom Line: It takes men longer than women to name their feelings, even though they are experiencing them. If you like this man, you’re on the right track. He does love you. Give him time to realize it on his own, and meantime, let things be.
