MAGICAL YET GROUNDED

Stase Michaels has the magic when it comes to interpreting dreams. Dreams are a nebulous reality, so real at the time and so vague and unreal afterwards. Dream interpreting takes someone who can tap into the unseen but is well grounded, and Stase is the dream master.

I have known Stase for many years. As a literary agent in New York City, I sold her book, The Bedside Guide to Dream's to Ballantine Publishers. I have sold over 15 books on dreams and the Guide is one of the few still in print for over fifteen years. In fact it was a mass market paperback, a trade paperback, and then a pocketbook, a rare occurrence of three consecutive editions for a first time author.

TRUTH IN DREAMS

Stase has been my mentor and great friend for the last twenty five years. She has been the greatest positive force in my life. Among many conversations about dreams, one series stands out as dear to my heart, her interpretation of dreams with regard to my love life. In one, I saw myself at the back of a church and saw a man with a bald spot on the back of his head waiting for me. The next dream was seeing myself having a great time spreading white icing on a cake. Stase saw it as my wedding cake. Yes, I met the man with the bald spot shortly afterwards. Peter and I have been happily married since 1988. There is a lot of truth to dream interpretation. Stase's background in psychology gives great insight and credibility to her dream analysis.

INTEGRITY, EXPERIENCE & A STRONG FAITH

Stase Michael's insightful interpretations of dreams offered in a practical, concise and realistic manner are most revealing. Stase has the ability to hone in on the spiritual and mundane significance of dreams with logical and accurate meanings. She probes for the truth of what the dream unfolds for and about the dreamer. Professional and personable, Stase's integrity and strong spiritual sense give her a keen insight based on experience as well as her strong faith in the Almighty. I have known Stase for a lifetime and always found her interpretations meaningful, practical, useful and to the point.

GIFTED & THOUGHTFUL INTERPRETATIONS
Stase Michaels has been my wonderful, loving and dear client/friend for almost ten years. She is a gifted and thoughtful dream interpreter. She takes great care and time with each dream. She kindly came to a seminar that Paraview hosted and taught a class. We were all fascinated by her insightfulness, there were a lot of "Ah Ha" moments. We still discuss our dreams and time with Stase and how much we learned.

CARING
& INSIGHTFUL
In the most caring, deeply sensitive, insightful and probing way, Stase Michaels reaches into the core of your dream and extracts the message that almost instantly produces your 'aha' response. I have known Ms. Michaels for more than 20 years and worked with her on my dreams for as long. I am honored to recommend her personally and professionally. She has helped me along my own journey and encouraged me to develop my own dream skills using the process that she teaches.

EMPOWERS THE INDIVIDUAL
I have had the pleasure of knowing Stase Michaels for over 15 years. We first met when she came to The Greenheart Center to teach a weekend workshop on dream interpretation and provide one on one work with individuals. As a psychologist, I have been trained in assorted methods of dream interpretation. Stase's methodology is one of my favorite because her work encourages and empowers the individual and includes that oft-forgotten element of the soul. I know Stase to be a compassionate and courageous woman. She speaks with integrity; she is fluent in soul. I recommend her without equivocation.

A FOREMOST AUTHORITY
I've known Stase for fifteen years. I first met her at a workshop she conducted on dream interpretation. I believe her to be a foremost authority on dream interpreting. She clearly did extensive research when writing her book: The Guide -The Bedside Guide to Dreams. Stase approaches dreams in a practical and helpful way. Her book is a crucial part of my library. To have an international expert on dream interpretation personally decoding the rich symbolism of my dreams is a profound privilege. Stase brings an unprecedented clarity to a sometimes baffling world of disjointed images, sounds and the feelings dreams can evoke. With her degrees in  psychology and work with Hospice, she is fearless in her listening. There is nothing to fear with Stase on your side. I wholeheartedly recommend her.

EXCELLENT!
REVIEWER: K.L. (Norton, MA)
I was surprised when I read this book. I was expecting it to solve all of my dream problems and interpret them all for me. BOY WAS I WRONG! And that is WHY I LOVED THIS BOOK. Each chapter deals with a different dream subject and gives examples by listing dreams that other people had. It talks in depth about why you were dreaming about this subject and how to figure out what it means in your life. There is no A-Z listing of one word descriptions. This book instructs so that you can interpret them correctly... as to what they mean in YOUR life, not based on someone's general description. With this book you can break a dream down to it's barest essentials and you will be surprised how easily the meaning will come to you. I highly recommend this dream book. I will recommend this book to all my friends so they can interpret their own dreams.

GREAT BOOK!

REVIEWER: Robert W. Smith "Bob"; (USA)
I knew Stase when she was in grad school. She is a wonderful, warm, spiritual person. She presented a program on dreams for our psychology club and then conducted a one day seminar for interested members. I went to both and really enjoyed them. I learned so much from her. When her book came out, I bought it and have used it ever since to interpret my dreams. It is useful, practical, and very intuitive. Sometimes dream books are really 'out there'. But this one works! Stase works with you and your dreams, instead of pushing some weird pseudo-Freudian interpretation on you. This is the only book you need if you want to interpret your dreams!

A TERRIFIC BOOK ON DREAMS, THE BEST I'VE READ

REVIEWER: A reader (U.S.)
This is a terrific book on dreams. I say this as a counselor and therapist who has worked with dreams of others as well as my own for years. The author's main premise goes beyond the old paradigm that a dream comes with a message. She states dreams also come with a purpose or goal which she relates to 'dream types'. Michaels makes a compelling argument for first understanding a dream in the context of the dream type to get the message quickly. For example, a dream may show you taking a cruise. One dream type purpose would suggest that taking a vacation would relieve emotional stress (an Emotional Rebalancing dream). Another might suggest a career change into the travel business (Decision Making dream). If you understand the dream's goal, the message is easy to get. The goal is easily deciphered by the dreamer's life context at the time of the dream. The Guide lists 27 such goals or dream types and shows how to recognize each by giving real life examples and pointing out their distinguishing features. No other dream book does this. It also contains a 50 page 'How to' section on interpretation using a Five Step Method that works superbly for both those new to dreams and those who are experienced. If you are investigating the meaning of your dreams, this book is a must.

A GOOD START
REVIEWER: Candice M., (Austin, TX)
When I opened the book and realized there was no subject index (not a dream dictionary though it has chapters by 27 types of dreams), I was worried how useful it was going to be. When you wake up and remember a certain type of dream, you want to look it up. Then I just started reading it and I found it very useful. It talks about why we dream and what dreams do for our bodies and our minds. It also has specific sections on decisions in dreams or worry dreams or life-changing dreams. The more I read it, the more I liked it.
