Free and Professional Dream Analysis and What Dreams Mean
I Have Strong Convulsions
I had a nightmare that I was asleep next to my husband when I had a nightmare. In the dream, when I try to wake up, my eyes would not open. I could see light through my eyelids and started to feel scared and tried to shout to my husband so that I can wake up, but lost the ability to speak. I start to shake and it feels like my body is possessed. When I finally wake up in the dream, my four year old is standing next to my bed screaming, then my husband wakes up. In the dream, this happens over and over again but the convulsions get stronger each time.
Money, making ends meet.
Someone is in a situation they don’t want to be in and can’t get out of it, which gets worse and worse. The ending shows a little one who feels terror.
Can’t wake up: Powerless, wanting to get out of a situation.
Can’t speak: Having no voice, no say in what happens, no control.
Child screaming: Vulnerable part of self that wants help.
What it Means:
The child is a mirror for how the financial situation makes you feel, and the dream mirrors the fear and anxiety about finances, feeling as if its getting worse and there is no way out. The image of the child may also suggest that your reactions, though legitimate, may be throwing you into a childish state of mind of letting fears run away with you.
The dream invites you to own your fears, yet handle your troubles without letting your emotions be in charge. Try to find the point of view that all problems have solutions, and keep looking for them (e.g. part time work, training for advancement etc), and take back your own power in the situation. It won’t happen overnight, but can be important to get out of the cycle of feeling terror and getting back to feeling your strength and coping.
Bottom Line: The nightmare is a mirror of fears; it invites you to name the fears and feelings and get past them to a place of coping and strength. The dream comes to help you get past the situation.
