DREAM TITLE: A Severe Betrayal by My Dead Husband
I had a dream my husband got out of his casket and was alive. I was very happy, but he was not the same wonderful man he was. I was in the hospital with breast and kidney surgery. He called and said to get boxes to move, that someone was taking our house. I found out he was drinking and cheating on me.
In my dream I felt so betrayed I tried to leave the hospital couldn't find my clothes or shoes. the elevators didn’t work. I ran down the stairs ended up at the airport, but couldn't get out. Never got home talked to kids on the phone and to him. He said he was drunk and having many affairs. I said I was going to beat him. And I woke up mad
In real life, I took care of him for over thirty years, the last five he was blind and a quadriplegic till he died. I stayed with him for eight weeks 24 hours a day. I’m still struggling how to live without him.
WHAT THIS DREAM MEANS
Some dreams are not dreams, they are experiences, which we remember as dreams. I think your husband came back to visit you to give you a message. I believe those who have passed on can come and visit us in spirit, on occasion, because they still love us and care how you are.
My guess is that he sees your dilemma, that you need to move along, but are having trouble doing so. If you go to a bookstore and read up about Life After Death, you might discover that those who have passed on have new work and learning to do there and also need to move along, till you meet again. However, they visit now and then because they love you.
I think this dream is his message of trying to push you to a change, so that you can move along. He's giving you reasons, as mock feelings of betrayal, to do so. In fact, if you stay stuck in the past, you are betraying yourself. Life and the world needs you. If he were alive and acted that way, you would have thrown him out or moved out. In other words, you would have moved along.
BOTTOM LINE:
He loves you. He needs to move on. So do you. This dream is his gentle push to help you get there.
