Groom is Not at Wedding
I dreamed I was preparing for my wedding, alone in my hotel room. I did my own make-up and hair and attended my wedding then end up waiting and waiting for the groom who never shows up. I don't know who I was getting married to, only that it was an arranged marriage.
Main Life Issues:
Someone does all that they're supposed to related to a commitment, but does not end up with one. The commitment falls through because it does not come from the heart (arranged rather than chosen).
Wedding: A long term commitment, generally based on love.
Arranged marriage: Something imposed, not from the heart.
Preparing for wedding: Preparing to fulfill a commitment.
Doing hair and make-up: Lining up presentable thoughts and attitudes, what comes out of one’s head and shown to others.
Groom does not show up: A commitment promised but not kept.
Alone in hotel room: Lack of support, abandoned on special occasion when there should be support.
What it Means:
The dream tells you that something promised to you will not come your way and that you are not supported in a particular issue or environment. The issue may relate to job or a career direction you’ve chosen, that will not turn out as you’d like. It may even relate to a man you’re interested in, and you may be doing all a girlfriend should do to make the relationship work, yet the man will not turn into a husband or make a commitment to you.
Bottom Line: Since the life issue you mention is finances, the dream is likely about career and job directions. It tells you that even though you’ve done a lot of groundwork, it is best to expect little where you currently work. The dream hints that things will turn out differently than you hope, but put expectations aside. Let something better arise where you’re appreciated and valued.
