Tiger Attack Dream
Tiger attacks me and my children.
Me and my two youngest children were behind a glass sliding door as a fierce tiger tries to claw at us on the other side of the door. The door was not fully closed so I kept trying to slide it closed, as the tiger kept swinging. I was able to close the glass door and lock it before anyone was harmed, but could still see the HUGE tiger through the glass. Yet I was never afraid and my kids were not yelling, either.
Main Life Issues:
Husband is incarcerated, just quit stressful job, daughter is rebelling.
It’s a story of being vulnerable yet protecting self and loved ones.
Glass Sliding Door: Symbol of vulnerability because you can see through glass and it’s easy to break.
Tiger: What is huge and menacing outside one’s boundaries.
Locking door: Finding safety, attaining a safe space.
What it Means:
The dream mirrors how you feel, namely, vulnerable and under attack by people and circumstances. Life at the moment feels like being attacked by a huge wild animal. The dream shows that despite challenging circumstances, you are calm and handling it beautifully.
Bottom Line: The dream shows you pitted against the world, yet able to protect self and loved ones. Trust in that strength to see you through.
Is Tiger A Friend or Enemy
Tiger as friend or foe
It starts out with my mom and I watching t.v., when my eye catches a Bengal tiger walking back and forth on our front porch. I ask, “Did you see that?” Mom says yes. I tell her the tiger wants to come in; we’re not afraid so mom opens the door then sits down. The tiger walks in, looks at my mom, passes her and comes straight to me, as if curious. I motion for the tiger to come closer and he does. He jumps in my lap, and we play. At first it is simple play then the tiger gets more into it. I start to get uneasy because the tiger is so big and can easily hurt me, so I try to push him away. Then I wake up.
Main Life Issues:
Trying to figure out if the job I am doing is right for me.
It's a story of someone taking on something big and unusual without fear, then realizing they took on too much.
Tiger: A magnificent but uncontrollable creature.
Tiger as Friend or Enemy: Trying to decide what is what in a dream suggests that a decision, such as career track or choices, need more information before you arrive at a conclusion.
What it Means:
Your job and career have been on your mind and whatever we think about tends to become a dream topic. The dream shows how you start something new brilliantly, taking on a lot without fear and with confidence, thus "taming the beast". However, as you deal with it you see it’s too much.
Bottom Line: The dream cautions you not to get out of your depth with responsibilities you take on in your job or career track, lest overconfidence turn on you. It takes time to build skills and experience.
That helped a lot, thanks for the input. The job I have is a great career start though a project I was looking to get into is more than I could handle. It totally fits, thanks again.
