Time For Me to Die
It Is Time To Die.
My father who has been dead for six years was standing next to a shadowy figure and looking down at me. I had not seen him for so long that at first I didn't recognize him. I didn’t say anything but as soon as I recognized him, he said, "It is time". I said, "I don't understand" and he replied, "Yes, you do.” I stayed silent but understood he meant it was time for my death. Never looking away from me, he again told me, "It is time".
Not very frightened. Thought a lot about how I’ve had a fulfilling life.
Main Life Issues:
Nothing outstanding. Fairly normal.
Someone takes an extreme announcement with equanimity.
Death: In general, a metaphor for change, a huge change.
Six Years: Mention of a time span or period may signify a recent period or cirumstance of your life with that time span (a job, relationship, etc.)
Dead Father: May be the actual person visiting and giving you a heads up; or, can be a symbol for your own strength and values received from father.
What it Means:
The visit by your father may have been an actual visit from the hereafter or he may be a metaphor of the wise, loving part of you. Death often relates to a major change, so the dream is likely a heads up about a major change coming your way, that will feel peaceful. Is there something you’ve wanted that would create a huge change in your life, such as marriage, a child, relocation, change of job? If so, it may be on the horizon.
Bottom Line: Most dreams about death are about change and letting go. However, on very rare occasions, a dream may forecast an actual death. Only your inner voice and time can know if that is the truth for you, in this case.
