SEE MY LOST PET IN DREAM. In real life, my dog ran away from home a month ago and since then, I have had two dreams about him. In the first dream he just stood there looking at me with a sad, puzzled look. It was a “what happened to me?” look. Then last night, I dreamed my dog got hit by a car and when my brother walked up to him, my dog was on the road, dead. The strange thing was, it seemed as if my dog got up and walked to a parking lot nearby and laid down to die. When I went up to him, he was not moving. I began to cry out of control. I woke up and looked at the picture of my pet on my mirror. I wanted to find him and bring him home, bury him next to his brother, my twin sister’s dog. Both pups were fourteen. FELT HOW: Sad, scared, alone, afraid, fear of the unknown.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Depressed about the loss of my dog.STORY LINE: Someone sees what happened to their lost pet. SYMBOLS: Seeing my dog in a dream: Seeing the spirit of actual pet. Dog hit by a car: The story shows what likely happened to your beloved pet, as an ESP dream. WHAT IT MEANS:In the first dream, your pet is disoriented but is there with you, telling you that he loves you and does not understand why things are not the same for him, anymore. It tells you that even in the spirit world, he loves you and still feels connected to you.The second dream shows what happened to him. He went exploring in the neighborhood and met a fatal accident. Sadly, the dream tell you that your dog has passed on. BOTTOM LINE: Though it is still extremely painful, knowing what happened to your pet may help you know that he is okay, and allow you to grieve and let go of the pain. Since love never dies, he may be waiting for you in the great hereafter.
TIGER ATTACK. Me and my two youngest children were behind a glass sliding door as a fierce tiger tries to claw at us on the other side of the door. The door was not fully closed so I kept trying to slide it closed, as the tiger kept swinging. I was able to close the glass door and lock it before anyone was harmed but could still see the HUGE tiger through the glass. Yet I was never afraid and my kids were not yelling, either.FELT HOW: Calm.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Husband is incarcerated, just quit stressful job, daughter is rebelling. STORY LINE: It’s a story of being vulnerable yet protecting self and loved ones. SYMBOLS:Glass Sliding Door: Symbol of vulnerability because you can see through glass and it’s easy to break.Tiger: What is huge and menacing outside one’s boundaries.Locking door: Finding safety, attaining a safe space.WHAT IT MEANS:The dream mirrors how you feel, namely, vulnerable and under attack by people and circumstances. Life at the moment feels like being attacked by a huge wild animal. The dream shows that despite challenging circumstances, you are calm and handling it beautifully.BOTTOM LINE: The dream shows you pitted against the world, yet able to protect self and loved ones. Trust in that strength to see you through. LION IN CEMETARY. I was at work, driving a truck. When I turned the corner there was an unfamiliar cemetery at an unfamiliar place. I couldn’t move and just drove in. Once I was in the cemetery, I saw a lion. We just looked at each other.FELT HOW: Frightened.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Relationships.STORY LINE: A sudden change brings someone face to face with something regal.SYMBOLS:Being at work: Going about one’s daily business; carrying out duties and chores that one has to.Turning a corner: A sudden change; a new perspective. Cemetery: Death as change; a cemetery as a place of change and confronting changes. An unfamiliar place: Unfamiliar as symbol of a surprise; a new location of changes.Lion: A regal wild animal; king of the beasts, king of the jungle. Not able to move: Staying put; accepting what is there.WHAT IT MEANS:The dream predicts that when you least expect it, you will meet someone who changes your life.BOTTOM LINE: If you want a new relationship, this dream suggests the opportunity will cross your path unexpectedly. The fear suggests you may have hesitations about a relationship but the dream tells you the opportunity will be there.
BIRDS & BEES. I saw a hummingbird fly into my room. At first, I was worried it would hurt itself and fly into the walls but instead the bird turned around and flew right to my face and just hovered there. On the back of the hummingbird was a bee. Wherever I moved the bird and bee moved with me and stayed right in my sight. FELT HOW: Panicked, scared.LIFE ISSUES: Writing a book; wondering if a friendship will turn into a relationship.STORY LINE: Something moving forward appears in jeopardy, then is okay.SYMBOLS:Birds and the Bees: A common metaphor for sex and giving birth, as an image of new beginnings. In your face: What confronts you.Bird and bee stay with me: A stance of commitment; a new relationship.WHAT IT MEANS:The dream points to new beginnings, which can relate to both the book and the budding friendship. However, because of the sexual overtones of the birds and bees’ image, it’s a good bet that the dream says a relationship is in sight. BOTTOM LINE: Dreams answer the questions on your mind or in your feelings. In this case, it answers the question about a budding relationship.
SCORPIONS. I become very aware and point out to someone that there are baby scorpions – MANY of them – that have emerged from a wood door frame and are vigorously squirming to break free. At first glance I think they are hatching but on closer inspection, one comes into sharp focus. It becomes apparent these are not baby scorpions. They are mature, robust and muscular scorpions with more than one yellow band running across their backs. They are attempting to break free from cobwebs. The door may have been ajar or missing, the space is wide open and definitely not closed or secure!FELT HOW: Felt like an observer, alert yet not panicked.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: I am faced with a life changing and compelling opportunity to engage with life; however, to do so, I must utterly let go of who I have been. I see myself avoiding the engagement yet often become aware of doing so only after I’ve Isolated myself or turned away. I am actively trying to remedy the situation and desperately need to change.STORY LINE: Someone observes a lot of creatures that could potentially hurt.SYMBOLS: Scary bugs: Metaphor for what intrudes and can overwhelm.Baby scorpion: A creature that can potentially bring pain and harm.Full grown scorpion: What is known to bring pain, a history of harm.A door frame: A transition space; an item that leads to another, that opens the way.Coming out of the woodwork: A play on words for “emerging from the past” as a metaphor of dreamer’s reactions, fears related to the past.Muscular, mature and robust: Metaphor for being able to exert the maximum pain and distress.Attempting to break free: Trying to escape from what holds one back.Cobwebs: Symbol of what can trap; in this case, a metaphor for demons from the past, the dreamer’s past fears and pains.A missing door: Play on words for missing an opportunity, or a transition. An invitation to go through unhindered.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS: Often a dream mirrors what life feels like. The dream is saying: Life feels as if scary things could get through and hurt me as a mirror of your anxiety about the new directions in your life. It sounds as if you have experienced pain and hurt in your life, and because of that, you likely maneuver through life as if trying to avoid being hurt. While doing so makes logical sense as a coping mechanism, it can also be a barrier to enjoying life and opening oneself up to opportunities.BOTTOM LINE: Like a digestion system, the dream is helping you process your fears and anxieties about change and letting go – about “the bad stuff getting through.” If you have a history of painful events, a therapist can help. Sometimes you need to deal with the past to get the most out of the future.DREAMER’S INPUT: Thank you for that, rather revealing.
HORSE WITH THREE HEADS. I had a very strange dream. It started in a temple. I was with my family, it was afternoon. As we returned home in the evening, clouds gathered in the sky slowly and it became black. The sky roared with thunderbolts and lightning in a terrible storm. Suddenly an image appeared in the sky of a person riding a three-headed horse. The horse and rider were not moving, it was just an image, a very clear image. Then I woke up. I was not afraid when I woke up, just surprised about what I just saw. I searched the whole internet but could not find any meaning about a horse with three heads.FELT HOW: Surprised.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Age 20, lost faith and interest in everything and relationship confusion.STORY LINE: A creature that normally moves forward gracefully is stuck.Dream SYMBOLS:Temple: A place to seek understanding, seek one’s path and spiritual grace. Three heads may suggest giving too much thought to something or too much emphasis on the intellect. It may relate to letting something get “out of proportion” and making too much of something, such as a romance gone bad. Plus, there is a saying that “two heads are better than one” yet too many heads as too much input, can cause confusion. Mirrors dreamer’s confusion.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:At age 20, relationship confusion merely signifies that you have not yet met the right person and says nothing bad about you; you will have many suitors ahead of you. Since you mention relationship troubles, I suspect you have let yourself get too caught up in a matter of the heart. While a relationship is a good thing, thinking too much about one person can be a mistake. As the dream shows, doing so leaves you sad and depressed.BOTTOM LINE: You say you have lost faith in everyone and everything. What that means is you have lost faith in yourself. Others will always be who they are, good and bad, but if you have faith in yourself, confusion leaves. The dream invites you to think less about a lost love and invites you to sort yourself out using spiritual tools.DREAMER’S INPUT: Thanks. It helped a lot to understand my dream and what you explained is true to a great extent.
POLAR BEAR, COUGAR & CATS. I am standing on a beach where there is not much sand; I'm standing on grass on a small hill nearby, looking down at the pebble-covered beach. The feeling is pure pleasure, like "wow look at this."I turn my head and see a polar bear on a bigger hill next to me; it is jumping into the river inlet that separates us. I can see his underbelly as he leaps gracefully into the water and I again think “wow.” Even though a part of me is in awe of the polar bear’s majesty, I run as hard as I can and turn into the bend of the mountain behind me. I run into a cave that is like a tunnel which leads to my parents’ bedroom.Inside my parents’ house, I close a sliding glass door which keeps the polar bear at bay; it does not look angry but it had chased me. Now it stares blandly at me through the glass. My parents don't notice the giant white bear; they are distracted by their two cats who are fighting with a cougar under the bed. I accidentally shoot my dad's cat, then scream at him to take the cat to the vet. The dream ends with me shooting the cougar in the face at point blank range, which is odd, because usually in my dreams, guns misfire or don't fire at all.FELT HOW: Pleasure and accomplishment; then fear and panic.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Unemployed.STORY LINE: In the first part, someone notices something that is not in its natural habitat and could be dangerous. The second part is a confrontation between what is wild and what is tame and someone who tries to end the confrontation endangers the tame creature and hurts the wild one.SYMBOLS:Animals as dream symbols: Animals in dreams often reflect traits in self that need attention.Polar bear: A large, noble creature normally found in cold terrain, which is out of place in this dream. Because the polar bear follows you, something inside of you feels the urge to acknowledge and use that talent; however, you fear that part of yourself even though it is not threatening. The dream suggests that you need to make an important decision about your career and follow true inclinations and talents rather than do what others expect of you. Until you do that, you won’t be happy. The confrontation in your parents’ bedroom suggests a battle in yourself between your upbringing and your true destiny and inclinations – pitting the tame, domesticated part of you that accepts the standards of parents and society against the wild, unexplored side that holds creativity and talents that desperately seek expression.BOTTOM LINE: The dream hints you are trying to run away from your true talents because a part of you fears what society or family or might think if you pursue your true passion. The dream indicates you have a huge and talent that would feel like a “wow,” if mobilized. It suggests a need to change your career track. THREE RABBITS. I dreamed there were three rabbits; two were white, one was gray and they were not doing well, health wise. They were outside (not burrowed), trying to find warmth. I felt I had to help them, especially the gray one, and wanted to save them, so I brought food and warm blankets. When I went to check on them later, they were jumping around; I tried to find the gray one, to keep it and protect it.FELT HOW: Concerned, desperate to save gray rabbit, felt attached to it.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Eating disorder, depression, financial issues, self harm.STORY LINE: Someone loves and wants to help something helpless.SYMBOLS:Rabbits: Gentle creatures.Gray: A color that can be a metaphor for sadness, depression.WHAT IT MEANS:The gray rabbit is likely a mirror of you, the part of you that seeks shelter and tender, loving care. BOTTOM LINE: The dream shows that you are trying to find health and happiness. Look around for sources of love and nurturing such as friends, group activities like those at a church, and/or a counselor. It all helps. LION TURNS INTO MAN. The dream starts off by me seeing my dead mum, and as I try to hug her, she slowly disappears. Seeing her disappear makes me very upset and no one else sees her in the dream. As I go to sit in the back yard, I see a dog but it's actually a male lion in the yard, with a mane. I'm very surprised it's a lion, not a dog, but I'm not fearful. The lion moves up to the back porch and just lays there. As I look, it slowly changes into a man then back into a lion. The dream was very vivid.FELT HOW: Calm but surprised because no one else could see the lion. MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Career, marriage, children. My husband and I were supposed to divorce last year but got back together, he keeps bringing up those issues which sometimes causes problems.STORY LINE: Someone sees something wild yet peaceful and lets it stay near. SYMBOLS:Dead mother: In this case, the actual person who comes to visit and let you know you are loved; also a symbol of nurturing and love.Try to hug dead mum: Wanting contact with a loved want, wanting the support and nurturing the person represents. Back yard: One’s private space; a space that’s outside yet connected. Dog becomes a male lion: What is domestic and common becomes regal and special.Lion lies on back porch: A special male settles in and comes close.Lion changes into a man: Prediction that you will meet a special man who will be calm, regal and special. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:The dream tells you two things. One is that your mother who died comes close to you, blesses you, wants you to know that she loves you very much. The second message is to look at the long-term regarding marriage. As a calm, majestic creature, the lion that takes up residence and is close by tells you that in time, you will meet a good man who will appreciate you and bring blessings to you and your home. Indirectly, the dream says that although you are trying to make the best of the marriage with your current husband, it will not work out, which you may already suspect. Since the lion is in your back yard, the man in your future may be someone you’ve known earlier, for example, in childhood, at school, or in younger yearsBOTTOM LINE: The dream comes to encourage you and tell you that ultimately, all will work out in love.DREAMER’S INPUT: I must say I am not one who sends emails regarding my dreams but because this one bothered me so much, I had to. I must thank you because your analysis has brought so much comfort, it was exactly the way I was feeling, it’s amazing how you got it spot on. Thank you so much.
MISCHIEVOUS MONKEY. I saw a monkey enter the front yard of my house. It cautiously went onto the grass in the yard and became friendly when I approached it with confidence. It uprooted the rose bush and ate its roots, then entered the garage and lay down on a sack inside the store room. It looked like a Hindu God laying down regally for a nap. I closed the garage door, letting it sleep.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: I am at loss my wife’s attitude and the way she treats me.FELT HOW: Initially apprehensive, but as dream progressed became happy and felt friendly toward monkey.STORY LINE: Someone watches an unpredictable creature which causes havoc, then sees its qualities of divine peace.SYMBOL: Monkey: A monkey can be a metaphor for thoughts that wander all over the place and create havoc. In this case may represents how husband sees wife's logic and actions. WHAT IT MEANS:The dream is an allegory, showing how to react to your wife. It says that, no matter what she does or says, remain confident and friendly, let her do what she wants and needs to do. Such an approach will change the dynamics of the relationship from uncertainty to peace and happiness, for you. BOTTOM LINE: Sometimes we don't understand a person but we can support them anyway. The dream gently reminds you that everyone wants to be loved, assured, and to be allowed to be themselves. Be confident, behave this way and it will bring happiness. CHASED BY A BULL. I met an old friend at a video shoot and we ended up walking together to catch up on old times. We saw a giant bull in the middle of the street; it had escaped from a giant bullpen that was next to it. It started to chase us so we ran and accidentally split up. We jumped over boulders and fences; later, we reunited and walked away.FELT HOW: I felt scared and overwhelmed.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Wanting to make progress.STORY LINE: Escaping an attack by something that is out of bounds. SYMBOLS:Bull: In this dream, a creature that is out of bounds and dangerous. WHAT IT MEANS:The bull is a metaphor for a person or situation that is forceful and tries to get what they want, but the request is out of bounds. The dream suggests that confrontation is not a good idea because brute force may be involved, verbally or as political power plays, in some way. It tells you to walk away and let it be. It also tells you that keeping a united front with those you care about is helpful. BOTTOM LINE: When an issue comes up with a forceful person or an overwhelming situation, the dream suggests to not confront it; instead, let it be as a way to bring about a solution and a constructive ending. The dog seemed unwell and could not eat anything, so I was trying to breast feed him, but his sharp canine teeth were giving me pain.FELT HOW: Wanting to help, confused.LIFE ISSUES: I am confused about my life, purpose.STORY LINE: What starts out as a very personal mission to help something loved turns into a painful experience with a stranger.SYMBOLS: Dog: Faithful friend.Breast feeding: Nourished by a loved one.WHAT IT MEANS:A dream relates to something in one’s life, personality or character, so the question becomes: What in your life has become painful and non-productive? It could be career, a relationship. Decide what area of your life resonates to the story line. The dream mirrors the fact that what started out as a hopeful way to help became painful. If a situation such as career is no longer satisfying, the dream suggests goals requires rethinking. BOTTOM LINE: The dream invites you to reevaluate the unsatisfying parts of your life. I WANT A DRAGON TATTOO. I wanted a dragon tattoo but I had to go into my old childhood home to get something first. While I was in my childhood home, I noticed water falling from the ceilings and ruining the house. A contractor came in and pulled the ceilings down and we discovered rooms that I didn't know existed. In one of those rooms we saw a huge rat. I kept trying to talk to the contractor but friends kept interrupting, which annoyed me. During all this, I was distracted, looking for the thing I had gone into the house to get, in the first place.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: My kids struggling with their relationships, with their kids.FELT HOW: Annoyed, confused, out of control.STORY LINE: Someone on a special journey finds new spaces and new problems and interruptions.SYMBOL:Dragon Tattoo: Thanks to the movie and book "Girl With A Dragon Tattoo", a dragon tattoo is now a powerful symbol associated with female empowerment and a powerful woman, who is the heroine of the story. The unwanted interruptions suggests either a need to simplify your life or to eliminate situations that don't add to your fulfillment. It can also hint at a need for quiet time to become more in tune with yourself.BOTTOM LINE: The dream suggests a desire to feel empowered. Because of the reference to your childhood home, the dream suggests you may have felt such an empowerment in earlier years or had to overcome a lot of obstacles earlier in your life, to get the strength you have now. The same may be true for your children - solving their own problems will bring them strength and wisdom, as happened for you.

BUGS COME OUT OF MY BODY. I dreamed my adult daughter was in a bathtub when bugs, possibly locusts, started coming out of her body. The bath was full of them and they kept coming. If the dream is about financial problems, it suggests that things may get worse before they get better, so be careful with what you have. The message also hints that a change in attitudes or thoughts may be needed. As another possibility, the dream sounds as if it may relate to a health condition and that going to the doctor may be a good idea. If you have a symptom that does not seem important, get it checked anyway; it may be need attention, more than you realize.BOTTOM LINE: Though you mention money as a main issue, with this dream, I’d make sure there are no health problems. WORMS COME OUT OF MY GROWN-UP SON. I had a dream about my son. He is actually twenty-four but in my dream he was about six and was complaining that his back hurt. I looked at his back, there were three flat worms with black eyes coming out of his spine. I knew I had to take him to the ER. Then a huge number of small worms poured out of his back into a pile at his feet. He was in pain and when I lifted his shirt, there were two rows of huge worms arching out of his back. It hints at emotional injuries that distort how he interacts with life.Going to the Emergency Room: Shows someone is in a critical condition and needs immediate, expert help.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:Sadly, the dream says that even though it is painful and horrible to watch your son go through all that, you cannot help. He needs the help of professionals, if and when he is willing to accept such help.BOTTOM LINE: All you can do is pray and be there for him as a support system, and hope that in the long run, he finds his way back.
WORMS ON MY HEAD. I was in my bedroom at my childhood home where I grew up; I will be moving back there soon, I now live abroad. In the dream I wake up to see my hair tangled hair with worms. I suspect from this dream that normally you are good natured and strong, not subject to negative thoughts or attitudes; the dream is putting you in touch with the negative change in yourself, so that you can deal with it.The scorpion that appears warns you that if you continue to hold onto negative attitudes, it threatens your personality and growth. BOTTOM LINE: The dream shows how counterproductive negativity and worry can be, attitudes that create a scary mess. For your own benefit, it invites you to problem solve using a positive outlook.
WORMS IN MY HAIR. I was in the bathtub washing my hair; my husband was helping me to rinse it. I was face down in the bathtub with water running over the back of my head when worms of many colors and sizes began running into the bottom of the tub along with the water. My husband and I try to get the worms out of my hair but there were too many.I try to go about my daily activities, the worms continue to crawl through my hair. I can feel them and am concerned others can see them. I go into a restaurant where my staff are seated and sit with a colleague (not staff). I have a plate of spaghetti in front of me and see a thick worm moving on my plate. The waitress was there, so I placed noodles on the worm to hide it. What comes out of your head, so to speak, are thoughts, attitudes, reactions and feelings. The dream suggests a situation is creating reactions, attitudes or thoughts that are not good for you, and needs to be cleared. Examine “what bugs you” in your life and whether you are reacting appropriately, overreacting or being negative.BOTTOM LINE: Examine what bugs you and whether you have negative thoughts or attitudes, lately, that can trip you up. Whether generally or about a specific issue, the dream sounds like a warning to adjust an attitude or a way of thinking. It may mirror negative reactions, attitudes or annoyances, or relate to secrets that have a negative impact on you. Because in the dream, you know that you can't deal with the problem yourself, the dream hints that it may take a professional to help turn the issue around.
THE TARANTULA SPIDER. I saw a man shaking something and a big tarantula spider fell out. It quickly ran onto a window and stayed there. It travelled so fast, as if it flew. The window was open so the spider went into the building. There was a woman inside. I waved at her to tell her to get out of there, then picked up a bag and opened it. The lady you are waving at is you, telling yourself to pay attention, and stay away from that person.Bottom Line: Whatever the situation, don't get involved.
SPIDER BITES. I was on a date and we went to a diner. When I walked in, I walked into a spider web and a big, clear white spider came down onto my shoulder and I knocked it off. The people in the diner tell me I still have spiders on me which start biting my arms, and I knock them off. My date says "They aren't poisonous" but my arms start to swell black and blue with open sores. My date drives me around looking for a hospital, but we could not find one.FELT HOW: Happy, then afraid.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Depression, anxiety.STORY LINE: Someone minimizes what’s happening to another who is under attack, tries to help, but does not succeed. SYMBOLS:On a date: An interaction with someone, a relationship. In a diner: A place where expect to receive nourishment, care.Spider web: Something designed to trap and destroy. Clear white spider: Something worrisome that one can see through.Knocking off spiders: Helping oneself. Spider bites: Attacks by small creatures.Words “they aren’t poisonous”: Minimizing something disturbing. WHAT IT MEANS:The story shows you in a situation where you think you are safe and looked after, but those around you don’t protect or help you when under pain and duress. That may be how you actually feel in life, and may reflect what is true, namely, that you can’t rely on those around you. Though that can feel disappointing, the dream is an indirect message to accept your circumstances and help yourself, rather than rely on others. It also suggests that you trust your own instincts, rather than listen to those around you. BOTTOM LINE: The dream invites you to overcome difficulties by helping yourself rather than waiting on or relying on others. Even when people love you (and sometimes they don’t), they can’t always help. Life works best if you can stand on your own two feet.
SNAKES. Snakes often appear in my dreams. In the dreams, I am very caring and respectful to the snakes and make sure they are not harmed. They are light colored, huge and thick, often cobras. I see them moving long distances and as me and others watch. It is always a particular snake. These snake dreams are not frightening but bother me sometimes.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Challenging job; seeking new job and place to live, no love life.FELT HOW: NeutralSTORY LINE: Someone watches and protects powerful creatures and shares during a long journey. SYMBOL: Snake: As mentioned on Symbols page of the website, a snake can mean different things to different people. Because you are from India, a snake may have religious significance per Hindu or Indian lore.WHAT IT MEANS:If you are a person with deep spiritual roots, especially if you have devotion to a Hindu god represented by a snake, the dream is a connection to the spiritual parts of yourself and beckons you to deeper spirituality. It may also suggest that you practice meditation because the snake is also a symbol of the spine and the spiritual energy that travels through the spine during meditation. BOTTOM LINE: Because you protect the snakes, they are a soul invitation to deepen your spiritual side. The snake travels a long distance, beckoning you to involve your soul in the long journey of life.DREAMER’S INPUT: I agree with your interpretation. Thank you for your guidance. PREDATOR SNAKE EATS GARBAGE. I dreamed I was living in a house with a garden where we threw out left over food and vegetables. One day a snake was there. It grew bigger and bigger and began chasing women and appeared to be smiling. I ran to the house next door to flee. While next door, a man ran from my house were the snake was, trying to catch girls I was with so he could give it to the snake. I held the girls so he could catch them and I could continue to escape.FELT HOW: TerrifiedMAIN LIFE ISSUES: Work and relationshipsStory Line: It’s the story of a predator, something that feels entitled to take what it wants, whether it’s correct or not. It’s also the story of someone who sacrifices others to save self (gives up other girls).SYMBOL: Dangerous but Smiling Snake: A threat that disguises its intentions.WHAT IT MEANS:The dream may reflect a situation in a relationship around you, yours or someone around you, where you notice someone manipulating women to satisfy their own needs. That can be a dynamic at work, family or some group, that you may be observing. It becomes a parable of a bad relationship, one based on being used by another (the snake takes and uses women); you manage to get out of the way, or try to, but your methods are questionable.BOTTOM LINE: The dream says your instincts are correct not to let yourself be used or manipulated by someone for personal reasons. However, don’t compromise your integrity by hurting others; protect yourself without helping him hurt others.DREAMER’S INPUT: That makes sense in relation to what's happening in my life. A SNAKE AND LIZARD FIGHT. A small snake was biting a small lizard. Suddenly a lady came by and made noise by hitting something. The snake ran away but the lizard was frightened and ran toward me. I was scared of it so I stood up on a chair but the creature jumped up and got stuck in my dress.FELT HOW: Anxious.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Confused.STORY LINE: Something that overcomes another is interrupted and what escapes looks for protection.SYMBOL: Interrupted fight: Aggression stops but creates other problems.WHAT IT MEANS:It sounds as if your role is to mediate and give understanding and solace to others when they are troubled, or in a fight, like the lade who comes and makes a noise and stops the fight. That can be a good thing. However, be careful that it does not become like meddling, so that you don’t become a target, and find yourself in a sticky situation despite good intentions. BOTTOM LINE: Dreams exaggerate to make a point so the attacks are likely verbal fights around you. If anyone comes to you for understanding, support them in words and feelings but don’t get involved. That's what the dream advises. TRYING TO KILL A SNAKE. I was chopping a snake. There were people around who were cutting the snake but it ended up being a rubber snake.FELT HOW: It made me feel victorious but scared.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Work pressures.STORY LINE: Someone overcomes what could threaten or hurt then discovers obstacles were not as great as first appeared.SYMBOL: Snake: Something threatening.WHAT IT MEANS:The dream suggests you are learning to stand up for yourself, and assert yourself to get what you need, which is a good thing to learn. However, the ending shows there was no great danger, suggesting you may be overdoing it. You may be too forceful or angry expressing your needs with others. BOTTOM LINE: The dream invites you to communicate what you need with kindness and good humor, which can accomplish the same result.
A HOUSE FULL OF SNAKES. I was in a house with my three children. Many different types of snakes started to appear from beneath the house and from behind furniture. When a boa constrictor swallowed my cat, I squeezed the snake like a tube of toothpaste and kept squeezing till the cat came out, then woke up.FELT HOW: Panic.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Work , family, getting by.STORY LINE: Someone encounters serious threats yet prevails. SYMBOLS:In house with children: One's personal space; a safe place; surrounded by those who are vulnerable or need support.Snakes of all shapes and sizes: Many different kinds of threats. Emerging from everywhere: A metaphor for being surrounded by unexpected challenges. A boa constrictor: A serious menace that threatens to engulf; in this dream, a metaphor for feeling overwhelmed by challenges or some threat in life.Snake swallows cat: A loved and helpless creature is overwhelmed by something much more powerful.Squeeze snake till cat is saved: Overcoming the odds; being able to pull oneself out of a very threatening situation. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:In the dream, challenges appear out of control and yet with great effort, you save the day. The dream says life feels very challenging on all fronts such as work, financially, family and overall and the stress brings panic and fear that you won’t be able to cope. However, in the end you reclaim what is yours and no one is hurt. That tells you that even though times are hard, you will overcome.BOTTOM LINE: Take heart. This is a dream of encouragement. Trust in your strength and ability to handle whatever comes your way.
Suggests spiritual focus can help through a difficult time. Being with family: Supported by loved ones.Clouds in sky: Metaphor for confusion, trouble, and a state of mind that separates dreamer from joy - which is life’s sunshine.A Storm: A difficult period in life, challenges.Horse: A horse is a symbol of “what moves forward” or “what can move you forward” in life.Three Heads: Symbols are unique to a dreamer’s personal experience.
Sliding glass door: Item provides a barrier but still feels vulnerable.Cougar and cats: Wild versus domesticated felines who are at odds with each other; metaphor for dreamer at odds with herself.Accidentally injuring dad’s cat: Though wanting to do something good, a hurtful by-product happens; metaphor for trying to live up to parents’ or society’s standards but hurting oneself in the process.Unexpectedly shooting cougar at point-blank range: Trying to protect self from a wild creature that threatens but not expecting to do injury.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:The polar bear represents a hidden or unused talent you, a great talent not yet under your control due to lack of training or discipline. The fact that you are desperate to help this rabbit, the part of yourself that is in distress, indicates that you want to find your way back to health and feeling happy, again. To keep motivated, try taking a picture of a gray rabbit and place it nearby, remembering how you love that rabbit and want to care for it.
Chased and running: Feeling vulnerable, wanting to escape.Jumping over fences and boulders: Overcoming restrictions, obstacles, and challenges. We split up: Taking separate paths to resolve a situation. Reunited and walking away together: A metaphor for reaching an agreement; also, a metaphor for finding a solution by joining forces and walking away rather than confronting an issue head on. DOG BITES MY HAND. A dog comes into my room and bites the palm of my hand.FELT HOW: Fear.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Money.STORY LINE: An intruder attacks someone.SYMBOLS:Unfamiliar Dog: In this instance, a strange presence. Bite: An aggressive act.WHAT IT MEANS:The saying, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you” means, don’t be nasty to those who pay your salary or help you through life, like bosses, parents. The dream tells you that if you want to be secure in your job and your life, please bosses and others on whom you depend for your welfare and act positively toward them. BOTTOM LINE: A good attitude allows you to get and keep a job and spouse and keep people happy. The dream tells you to do your part to keep those in your life happy and your life will be successful. DOG NEEDS HELP. I was breast feeding a dog which initially looked like my pet dog, but soon it was clear he wasn't.
CATCHING LOTS OF FISH. I dreamed I was fishing and catching all the big fish, a lot of them. All the others did not catch a fish, just me. And my adult son had exactly the same dream! BOTTOM LINE: The most important thing you can pass on to loved ones are your spiritual values and lessons in how to live life.
BUGS COME OUT OF MY BODY. I dreamed my adult daughter was in a bathtub when bugs, possibly locusts, started coming out of her body. The bath was full of them and they kept coming. She washed her hair then she became a young child again, sitting on a window ledge. I was trying to catch the bugs to show the doctor, but when I opened the box where I had put them, the bugs were ashes.FELT HOW: Confused and very anxious.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: MoneySTORY LINE: Someone tries to clean up another but finds an infestation that gets worse and worse. Doctor: Someone who can diagnose or fix a problem; the part of you looking for answers. WHAT IT MEANS:Most dreams are about you, so it’s likely the dream is about you rather than your daughter. The “back” of the body is a play on words for “what is behind you” as if the origin of the addiction goes far back.A black eye: Eyes are often called the window of the soul and eyes are how you see life. A black eye happens when someone fights or is punched. In this case, a black eye suggests the son feels as if life has dealt him a blow, and a metaphor for not seeing life clearly.
I remove the disgusting worms from my bed and place them in a jar with soil and throw the jar on the floor. A large scorpion crawls out. The worms feel disgusting which suggests you have negative thoughts, anger, depression, going through your head at this time. Your dream is showing you what that negativity looks like and feels like, from the point of view of your best growth - yukky.
I was concerned with how to get the worms out of my hair. I felt I would either ruin my hair with pesticides or would have to shave my head. I could not get them out!FELT HOW: It felt gross. I did not want people to see them.STORY LINE: Something horrible clings and someone cannot get rid of it.SYMBOLS:Bathtub: Place to come clean; cleansing, starting fresh. In your hair: What comes out of one’s head as a metaphor for reactions, thoughts and attitudes.Worms in hair: Something yukky that is out of place and creates horrible effects and reactions. Washing hair: Trying to come clean; a need to clean up attitudes, reactions and thoughts.Cover up worm in spaghetti: Trying to hide something shameful and negative that is becoming obvious.Could not get worms out: A need to fix a drastic situation but not knowing how; hence, a need to call in an expert, get help.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:Getting something out of one’s hair is a metaphor for eliminating what bothers you or what angers or annoys you.
In the bag, there were tarantula eggs. Some had hatched and had started to scuttle around so I dropped the bag and woke up.FELT HOW: Scared. MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Someone in my building feels troublesome. STORY LINE: Someone sees something nasty as a situation that quickly goes from bad to worst.SYMBOLS:Spider: In this case, something frightening that can hurt.Shaking an item: A play on words for shaking things up as a metaphor for making trouble.Travelling very fast: Getting out of control.Waving at someone: A warning, trying to get someone’s attention. It is a message to the dreamer to pay attention.Spider eggs: In this case, trouble that reproduces and easily spreads.Hatching: Metaphor for intrigue that unfolds; in this case, something negative.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:The end of a dream often holds the advice. By dropping the bag, the dream is telling you to back away and stay out of trouble and sounds like the person of whom you are wary, in your building.
