Death & Dying
Dreams about the death of a child or a loved one are very troubling, but as these examples show, the dream is usually about something else in your life. For other examples and an explanation about death and dying in dreams, including warnings, see "Nightmares—The Dark Side of Dreams and Dreaming."

Death: As the greatest change we encounter, death is often a symbol of change or letting go.WHAT IT MEANS:On rare occasions dreams tell us about a future event. However, most dreams about death are about major change or loss. The dream tells you that someone will go through a change. It can be a family member or the dream character can be a stand-in for you, so you can be the person who is about to experience change. That can be a job change, an illness, a change in a relationship, or even a positive change that makes you feel sad, as changes often do.

You can try to resist or try to hope that the relationship stays together but the dream tells you that it won’t work. You can’t hold onto your boyfriend or prevent other changes.BOTTOM LINE: The dream invites you to accept what is and go with the flow. GIVING CONDOLENCES: In my dream, my ex husband's uncle passed away of a stroke. I don’t talk to the wife but had to give her my deepest condolences for her loss. Or, since dreams are usually about the dreamer, you may be the one who needs kindness and consolation. The message speaks of a need to console, communicate, and reach out. BOTTOM LINE: You may want to be independent, which is good, but even a positive trait can become extreme. The dream invites you to be in touch with others, perhaps those from whom you have distanced yourself. To feel loved, we need others. That is part of life. DREAMS OF DEAD BROTHER: About two years ago I had a dream of my late brother. He was lying on a bed in our old house, it’s been five years since I've lived there. In the dream he is alive and breathing, then all of a sudden, he falls off the table. I start crying and freaking out.Today I dreamed I was with my father and mother who have been divorced for five years. My father wants to show me something. Even though I was upset about something, I go with him. He pulls back a curtain, revealing a long, narrow room full of my brother’s things. Feeling hysterical: Intense emotional reaction; bringing up emotions related to a traumatic incident. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:The first dream is about a visit by your brother to tell you he is fine in eternity, and still loves you; he wanted you to know he is okay. The second dream brings up the painful feelings about what happened to your brother and as a message to deal with those feelings of pain, which still linger. Pain that you hold inside does not heal and can create unexpected effects, like closing off the ability to love or to trust. Your brother may have inspired the dream from the other side, stirring up memories as a nudge to get you to heal the emotions of a very painful experience and loss.BOTTOM LINE: At age twenty-two, don’t be reluctant to find a counselor to talk to about the loss; a trusted counselor can help. FRIEND’S DEAD BROTHER VISITS: I had a dream where my friend's late brother visited me. I was at a table with my friend, her late brother and her other brother. I told the late brother not to worry and that I was taking care of his sister (my friend). The late brother smiled at me, was happy and then we gave each other a high five. Please help me to interpret. ThanksFELT HOW: At peaceLIFE ISSUES: NoneSTORY LINE: Someone receives a visit from a loved dead person.WHAT IT MEANS:Some dreams are not dreams, they are actual experiences remembered as a dream because a dream is the only form of memory during sleep. This was an actual visit to say thank you for caring for his sister. BOTTOM LINE: Many believe the soul lives on after death, and that a person can occasionally visit loved ones. Love is eternal. REVIVING MY DEAD BROTHER—THE DREAM: In real life, my little brother died about nineteen years ago when he, my mother and I were in a car accident the day before his first birthday. My mom told me years down the road that his autopsy showed he had a brain tumor, as well.In my dream I see my little brother, he looks like a preemie baby, weighing no more than four pounds and is laying in a wooden coffin. He looked like he was sleeping, so I picked him up and he came back to life. As he was smiling, his teeth were filled with dirt and his real teeth were replaced with fake ones from the autopsy. I also found an MRI in the coffin that showed his brain tumor. When I put him down, he started to die, so I wrap him in a white blanket and take care of him. Others in my family don’t show excitement that my brother is alive, as if they expected it from me and they leave me to fend for myself. The baby sleeps with a smile on his face, in my arms.FELT HOW: Shaken, sad to see disturbing details.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: No job, car, friends, but looking forward to the future with my fiancé; age 23.STORY LINE: Something without life or potential is given life by love and sustained by love.SYMBOLS:Death: A metaphor for change; in this case, your new life with your fiancé.Little brother: Actual person who passed on; also, a symbol for someone who needs love and is sustained by love. Brother came back to life: Actual visit from deceased brother; and, a metaphor to show that love gives life.Teeth filled with dirt: Teeth as mouth and symbol of communication; dirt as showing what is dusted off and cleared, due to love.Teeth as real or fake: Real versus fake in a dream indicates choices; symbol of evaluating what is important, what is real. In this case, love is shown as the only thing that’s real, and revives all.Wrap baby in white blanket: The color white as a fresh start, a new beginning in your life. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS: This dream works at two levels. At one level, it’s a story about something without a life or potential that is given new life by love and sustained by love. That is the story of where you are at; your life is revived by love and will be sustained by the love as you create a marriage and a new life. Because of love, You will have a life and everything you need.At another level, some dreams are not dreams, they are actual experiences remembered as a dream, because a dream is the only form of memory we have, while asleep. Many believe that the soul lives on and that a person who has passed on can occasionally visit their loved ones. Since there is so much literal detail in the dream about your little brother, such as the MRI and brain tumor, it makes me think that he (now grown up as a soul) came to visit you from beyond, to let you know he loves you, looks after you, and is there for you.BOTTOM LINE: Loved ones who have passed on sometimes act as guardian angels once in a while, and certainly send love. Your brother sent you a message that he lives on in you, and that love is what makes everything real and makes everything work. You have found love with your fiancé and will have a new life. SEE DEAD FATHER: I saw myself coming back from work and going into a different house than mine. As soon as I stepped inside, I saw my father sitting on the stairs. He had tears in his eyes as he looked at me and I started crying, too. My dad never used to cry, he is the most fearless person I knew. He died a couple of years ago. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:Some dreams are not dreams, they are actual experiences that you remember as a dream because a dream is the only form of memory while asleep. Many believe the soul lives on and a person can at times visit.Though your dad left in a tragic way, the teardrop showed happiness as he reconnected with you. He wants you to know that he lives on and still loves you and wants you to be okay. The visit was likely also a reminder of the example he passed on, of being fearless, traits you need now to handle a difficult situation.BOTTOM LINE: Life goes on and love is eternal. Cherish your father’s visit and carry his strength into your life.
DEAD FATHER HELPS ME: I dreamed my husband was gone a lot and my father kept doing things that my husband would do to help me. I couldn't see my father but I knew it was him.FELT HOW: Confused. LIFE ISSUES: My father has been dead for six years.STORY LINE: A loved one is not around to help but another steps in to help.SYMBOL: Father: Can be actual father or metaphor for a woman’s strengths.WHAT IT MEANS:If you need help and are not getting it, e.g. for house or emotional support, the dream suggests you look around for other sources of help for what your husband does not provide. OR, if you’ve been feeling helpless, a father or husband in a dream can be a symbol for your own strength. In that case, the dream suggests that you remember what the values your father taught you and draw on that to find the strength you need. BOTTOM LINE: It’s also possible your father visited you from the spirit world to remind you that you are still very loved and that from the other side, he is doing all he can to help you and keep an eye on you. DEAD FATHER COMES BACK TO LIFE:I was sitting in the house with my family, a few days after my dad’s funeral. A weird truck pulls up and someone gets out; it’s my dad. I start screaming, then my mom starts screaming. He comes into the house and all hug and kiss him, then he has to go to the hospital. Everyone leaves to go to the hospital. I have to go to work, so I try to find someone to work for me. No one believes me when I tell them my dad is back to life, so I start punching people in the face. I go to the hospital and no one believes me. We find his room; it’s in the basement, beside the morgue.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Having to deal with my father’s death because he killed himself.FELT HOW: Mad, sad, happy.STORY LINE: Someone in pain is surprised and happy to get a visit from a loved one they thought they would never see again but is distressed that others don’t get it.SYMBOL: Dream visit from loved one who died: Death is often a symbol about change; however, seeing someone in a dream soon after they die can be an actual event.WHAT IT MEANS:Having to deal with your father's death as an eighteen year old and the painful way in which he died is a huge challenge. This dream is different from most dreams about death. Many believe that souls live on and that some dreams are not dreams, they are actual events you remember as a dream because a dream is the only vehicle of memory when asleep. This was a visit from your dad who loved you very much and after he passed on, saw you in pain and wanted you to see he is alive at a soul level. The dream message also points out that few believe he actually visited you in spirit or that it could happen. BOTTOM LINE: Your dad came to you in a dream to let you know he is okay, is finding healing and strength on the other side, and that he loves you and wants you to be okay. SEE FATHER WHO DIED RECENTLY:I saw my father who died a few months ago in a dream. I was sleeping and felt pressure on my body and suddenly saw a white light behind me. Slowly I realized I could see my dad's shadow (hair and profile). He held my hand and I could feel his touch. I said “Daddy” and he held my hand tighter.Suddenly I see a small girl about 3 or 4 years old whose face was not fully visible; she was wearing a blue jacket with a hood and her face was covered by the hood. She was moving randomly by my bedside and said, " My name is Krishna M and I am from...” I ask her to sit but she says no. Then my dad, the girl and the white light disappear. I felt really good.FELT HOW: Felt better after the dream.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: I cannot accept the fact that my Dad is not with us. Me and my mom were with him in the hospital and saw him died.STORY LINE: Someone reconnects with a loved one and feels uplifted.SYMBOLS:Dead father: In this case, the actual person.White light, bright light: Symbol of spirit, the great beyond.Little girl named Krishna: Krishna as love; symbol of being loved. Girl moving by my bedside: What is near and yet in flux.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:Some dreams are not dreams; they are actual experiences remembered as a dream because a dream is the only form of memory while asleep. Many believe the soul lives on and that a person can occasionally visit loved ones. It sounds like an actual visit; your dad wants you to know he is well, happy and still loves you very much.Seeing a white or bright light in a dream often indicates a connection to the afterlife or spiritual dimension. The little girl saying the name Krishna was a metaphor for “Love” since Krishna is the god of love and happiness in Hindu tradition; it represents a message that your dad loves you.BOTTOM LINE: The fact that you felt very happy after the dream tells you it was a true connection with your dad. DEAD FATHER WARNS DAUGHTER: My sister had a dream that she was in church and my late father told her to warn me that I’m playing with fire.STORY LINE: Someone receives a warning not to take risks.SYMBOLS:Church: A spiritual place; a place to review one’s path in life.Father: Actual person or symbol of one’s strength. Warning: A heads up about something that needs your attention.Fire: Something that can be helpful or destructive. Playing with Fire: A saying that suggests someone is taking risks that could be destructive. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:The dream sounds like a direct message about not taking risks that could lead to unwanted consequences. The question is whether the dream message is for your sister or for you. Even though in her dream your father says the message is for you, sometimes the dreamer does not want to "own" a negative message and "cloaks" it, so that in her dream, you are a symbol of herself. To determine who the message is for, see who may be taking risks that could lead to unwanted consequences such as unprotected sex, cheating in some way or a habit such as drugs or drinking too much that could get out of hand.BOTTOM LINE: Whoever is taking risks that could lead to self-destruction or pain to self or others, which is who the message is for.
DEAD FRIEND VISITS: One of my friends actually got hit by a car and died last year. I keep having dreams that we are in school and I see her. I say, "Hey" to her, and she says it back. Every time I see her, I’m talking to her as if she is still alive. FELT HOW: Concerned. Are my family and friends going to be okay? MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Loved ones. STORY LINE: Someone connects with loved one they thought could not connect with. SYMBOLS:In school: Past associations; the school of life.Saying "Hi": Connecting, communicating.WHAT IT MEANS:Your family and friends are going to be fine. You may have been feeling pain over what happened, so she comes by, in a dream, to tell you that she is fine in another place, like heaven, and give you comfort. BOTTOM LINE: As a friend, she wants you to be okay, and for you to know that she is okay. On the other side where she is now, people have activities just as your do. They learn new things, develop hobbies and spend time with loved ones.

VISIT FROM TWO DEAD EX'ES: I saw my father's face smiling at me; he was very happy. My father has passed away. DEATH OF 3 YEAR OLD SON: I have three recurring dreams about death.1. My dog runs out in the road and gets hit by a car. Or, it can indicate that the problems are beyond repair. BOTTOM LINE: Though painful, sometimes an ending is not such a bad event when you are young enough to start fresh; however, only you can decide what you want and what is best for you.

The dream left me so sad and worried.STORY LINE: Someone experiences great loss and pain.SYMBOLS:Death: In general, death can be a metaphor for huge change; however, on rare occasions it can be an ESP glimpse of an actual future event.Husband: Actual person; or, in woman’s dream, a man can symbol strength.Someone dies suddenly: An unexpected event or change; a negative surprise.A heart attack: An actual condition or event; and/or a metaphor for a great emotional pain. Cancelling a yearly checkup: It sounds like a time indicator for when an event may occur; and/or, a metaphor for a sad communication.A hospital: A place to check one’s health. WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:Though most dreams about death are symbolic, you pre-dream everything important that happens to you, and sadly, though only the Almighty knows for sure, the dream could be a heads up that this may happen. But dreams about death can also relate to changes one would not like, such as a health crisis or financial difficulties – as a mirror of what you are going through. The phone call to the hospital sounds like a time marker, indicating that whatever happens takes place before his scheduled check-up. BOTTOM LINE: If you are having this dream, your soul is trying to help by preparing you. It is an encouragement to be strong. Know that you can handle whatever crosses your path. HUSBAND IS MURDERED: I dreamed my husband was murdered (shot). I saw his corpse at the hospital, but I did not want to believe it. I decided to print his picture on a black shirt and wear it all the time. In the dream I was weeping and crying like hell.FELT HOW: Very very sad.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Nothing abnormal.STORY LINE: Someone sees harm come to a loved one. SYMBOL: Death: In most cases a symbol of change, great change.WHAT IT MEANS:It is rare for a dream to predict an actual death (see actual ESP dreams), though it does happen; it is said we pre-dream everything of importance that happens to us. In most cases, death indicates great change such as loss of a job or other circumstance; in this case the change is one that shocks you and leaves you sad. However, if you live in a country where danger and violence is high, chances increase that the dream may be a warning. At this point the dream is only a heads up. Whatever your faith, call on prayers of protection for your husband; help from God and the angels can be very powerful and sometimes can change the path of fate. BOTTOM LINE: The possibility is there. If you are having this dream, your soul wants you to be prepared, whatever the event.
SOMEONE SAYS I AM GOING TO DIE:I have a recurring frightening dream where someone tells me I’m going to die by the end of the year but the stranger does not say how. I’ve had the same dream twice. In some dreams I have a terminal illness and have dreams of my death almost every night. Sometimes I see my own death and sometimes I see the death of family members.FELT HOW: Frightened, disturbed.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Stress, Anxiety, Worry.STORY LINE: Someone keeps helping another survive. SYMBOLS:Death: Generally represents change, huge changes.Recurring dream of death: Highlights changes will take place.Being told one will die: News of impending change.By the end of the year: Can be an actual timeline of when changes begin, or a turning point that will lead to changes. See my own death: A heads up of changes that are on the horizon.Seeing death of family members: Noticing changes in those around you. WHAT IT MEANS:Most dreams of death are about change, huge change in a person’s life. On occasion, such a dream can be an ESP warning about a health problem that could become serious. However, this story does not appear to be a literal warning because the details change, and different people die each time. The dream suggests that changes are headed your way. What those changes are depends on your circumstances (e.g. a change of job, relationship, a new home). Whatever the change, your old way of life will die, so to speak.BOTTOM LINE: Most dreams of death are about change, important changes flagged by the soul. THREE MONTHS TO LIVE: In my dream I was given three months to live. Next, I dreamed a woman suddenly and unexpectedly jumped out of a window; I heard her crash to the ground. A few moments later in the same dream, another woman jumps out of the same window as we discussed the first one. The second suicide really upset me because I was still processing the first one.FELT HOW: Upset.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Am dealing with a brain injury, leukopenia and poverty, yet have a strong, positive spirit and do community service.STORY LINE: Someone is given a time line for survival and change and they witness others who voluntarily choose not to survive.SYMBOLS:Death: Most often a symbol for change, great change.Three Months to Live: May indicate a timeline that in about three months, changes come about in your life and situation.Suicides: Drastic actions that cause harm, a choice not to survive. WHAT IT MEANS:In real life, you are dealing with serious health issues; the dreams address your concerns, fears and anxieties about your health and fears about what can happen. They invite you to make decisions regarding your health that constructively heal rather than choosing to wait or do nothing, which would be suicidal. Make the most of what is available as remedies and treatments in all ways. Choosing not to use health options would, in dream terms, be counterproductive at best, and at worst, your health would go downhill.BOTTOM LINE: Dreams exaggerate to get your attention. The suicide metaphor is an urgent invitation to make wise decisions about a health plan and a warning to actively apply yourself to restore health. Sometimes, when we are traumatized by what's happening, we tend to want to do less, which can be masked depression. Your soul is urging you, via a dream, to do more, in terms of health care.
TIME TO DIE:My father who has been dead for six years was standing next to a shadowy figure and looking down at me. I had not seen him for so long that at first, I didn't recognize him. I didn’t say anything but as soon as I recognized him, he said, "It is time". I said, "I don't understand" and he replied, "Yes, you do.” I stayed silent but understood he meant it was time for my death. Never looking away from me, he again told me, "It is time".FELT HOW: Not very frightened. Thought a lot about how I have had a fulfilling life.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Nothing outstanding. Fairly normal.STORY LINE: Someone takes an extreme announcement with equanimity.SYMBOLS:Death: In general, a metaphor for change, a huge change.Six Years: Mention of a time span or period may signify a recent period or circumstance of your life with that time span (a job, relationship).Dead Father: May be the actual person visiting and giving you a heads up; or, can be a symbol for your own strength and values received from father. WHAT IT MEANS:The visit by your father may have been an actual visit from the hereafter or he may be a metaphor of the wise, loving part of you. Death often relates to a major change, so the dream is likely a heads up about a major change coming your way, which will feel peaceful. Is there something you’ve wanted that would create a huge change in your life, such as marriage, a child, relocation, change of job? If so, it may be on the horizon. BOTTOM LINE: Most dreams about death are about change and letting go. However, on very rare occasions, a dream may forecast an actual death. Only your inner voice and time can know if that is the truth for you, in this case.
RECONCILING WITH DEAD FATHER: My dad has been dead for over 20 years. In the dream, I’m at his house with two other girls, my cousins; he looks very sad and lonely. I feel his pain and reach out for him. He has three large photo albums; I take one and put the other two back in a drawer. I walk with him and notice he’s limping; as I look at his foot, it’s deformed so I hold it in both hands and cradle it. I was very gentle, tender, and felt so sad for him. It felt like I was making up with my dad.FELT HOW: Felt like I was reconciling with my dad.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Lonely; in a dying relationship.STORY LINE: A story of reconnecting, healing, and forgiveness. SYMBOLS:Deformed foot: Something that makes it hard to move forward.Cradling deformed foot: Healing what’s broken, giving love.Photo Albums: Cherishing and reviewing the past.WHAT IT MEANS:Sometimes a dream is not a dream, it’s an experience remembered as a dream because a dream is our only form of memory at night. Many believe the soul lives on after death and that a person may visit loved ones. This may have been an actual visit by your father, triggered by the struggles in your relationship. It sounds as if you had reasons to reconcile with your father and in the dream, you forgive him and help him heal; his deformed leg was a metaphor for what had to be healed between the two of you. It’s possible that your father saw your pain in your current relationship and wanted to let you know he is there for you. What happened between you and your father in the dream may also suggest that forgiveness and reconnecting may be important in your current relationship, as a key to a possible reconciliation.BOTTOM LINE: Forgive your husband, yourself and your dad. Forgiving your husband’s flaws might lead to healing between the two of you or at least free your feelings so that you can make choices that improve your life. Seeing your dad and reconciling with him is a reminder that doing so in all relationships is a good thing. DEATH AT WEDDING: I was attending a wedding. As I got to the church, the doors flew open and a car with an open top flew out with the father of the bride in the back, dead; his legs and arms were flying everywhere. The bride who I didn’t know was screaming and crying. We then continued to a house where the wake was underway.FELT HOW: Confused. MAIN LIFE ISSUES: Friend is depressed. STORY LINE: A commitment that goes awry leads to a catastrophe.SYMBOLS:Death: Generally a symbol for a huge change.Wedding: Symbol of commitment. Father of the Bride: Someone who supports the bride but in this case, is ejected from the scene as a metaphor for feeling a lack of support.Doors flew open: Sudden event, awareness of something unusual.Arms and legs flying everywhere: A metaphor for out of control.Wake was underway: Funeral as death and change; word “wake” as having a double meaning about waking up, hence, noticing what is real and true.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:Since concern for your friend was on your mind as you were going to sleep, the dream is likely telling you what is going on for her. The story suggests that a commitment and a relationship fell apart, which is a painful change for her. Attending the wake suggests that the relationship is over and one has to accept what is real and true. The dream appears to show why she is depressed, whether or not she shared details about disappointment in love.BOTTOM LINE: You can’t always help those you care for, but in time, most things straighten out.
BOYFRIEND KILLED, EVERYONE DIES: I dreamed that me and my boyfriend moved to Japan. Someone killed him in our house, and I ran around looking for help. I find help then try to run into the neighborhood, but the killer puts me into a coma and kills everyone. As I return to our house, he kills me and I wake up.FELT HOW: Scared and felt pain.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: My boyfriend and I are going our separate ways soon. STORY LINE: A witness to a destruction tries to get help but is also destroyed. SYMBOLS:Move to Japan: Finding oneself in foreign territory; metaphor for a new and very different situation.Death: Generally a symbol for change.Trying to Get Help: Trying to change a situation, trying to turn things around.A Coma: An unconscious state; metaphor for not living in reality or ignoring reality.WHAT IT MEANS:In real life you are breaking up with your boyfriend and are about to go through a lot of changes, because of that. Yet the story shows someone trying to ward off the evil and the agent of change - the murderer (as a metaphor for an agent of agent). The dream says that, ready or not, your life is changing. I cried in my dream; I don’t even talk to my ex husband.FELT HOW: SadMAIN LIFE ISSUES: Don’t want to depend on others.STORY LINE: After a tragedy, someone reconnects with and consoles others.SYMBOLS:Death: Often a symbol of change, transition, tragedy, and endings.Having a Stroke: A health condition, a sudden bad event.Uncle: Someone with whom you are affiliated yet not always close.Ex husband: Symbol of someone from your past, possibly someone to whom you owe amends or need to forgive in order to move on.Condolences: An expression of understanding, sharing pain.Crying: In this case, a way of expressing your sadness and grief.WHAT THE DREAM MEANS:The dream suggests that someone around you may need words of kindness and consolation. I touch a pair of my brother’s light tan pants and begin to cry, feeling hysterical. The hurt felt real.FELT HOW: Sad, hurt and empty.MAIN LIFE ISSUES: My brother took his life and I found him.STORY LINE: A connection to a past loved one brings a lot of pain.SYMBOLS:Seeing dead brother: In this case, the actual person.Brother falling off table: Unstable; shows that at the time, your brother was in an unstable emotional period, which let to his death.Pulling back a curtain: A curtain is often a symbol of a separation between this life and the next; hence, seeing the beyond.A long and narrow room: A place beyond; a storage location.Brother’s tan pants: Reminder of closeness to a loved one.
Dad and light disappear: A visit ends after a blessing was given.Face covered by hood: A metaphor for the other side, where not all can be seen.
The dream is about saying hello to a real friend who died. Some people believe that when someone dies, they can come and visit to say hello, once in a while. DEATH OF SIX YEAR OLD CHILD: The dream is about my little cousin who is six; I love him more than life itself. The dream tells you to stop worrying about your future; all will be fine. You’ll figure it out.
DEATH OF 3 YEAR OLD SON: I have three recurring dreams about death.1. My dog runs out in the road and gets hit by a car. Currently a main issue is depression; the dream is telling you that your bottomed-out feelings go back to a loss that caused pain, such as the end of a relationship or the loss of a loved one. BOTTOM LINE: The dream is trying to put you in touch with feelings related to a painful loss as the root of your depression. It hints that you need to deal with those feelings to restore your strength and happiness. YOUNG SON DIES:I dreamed my current two year old son who is about to turn three, died as an infant and there are flash backs of his funeral. Or, it can indicate that the problems are beyond repair. BOTTOM LINE: Though painful, sometimes an ending is not such a bad event when you are young enough to start fresh; however, only you can decide what you want and what is best for you.
HUSBAND DIES OF HEART ATTACK: I had a dream that my husband died suddenly of a heart attack. In the dream I telephone the hospital where he actually goes and had to cancel his yearly physical.
