I Kill Jesus at His Request
Jesus Asks Me to Kill Him
Jesus asked me to kill him. I told him I did not want to do it but he said I had to. There were people with him in white clothes who I would call his "entourage". They did not say anything, they were just there.
Main Life Issues:
Father died three days before the dream.
It’s a story about someone asked to do something drastic and intense which they prefer not to do.
Kill: Death is generally a symbol of change; killing is a metaphor of deliberate death, hence, making a large change by choice.
Jesus: As a symbol, Jesus represents salvation, sacrifice, love.
Jesus Asking to Kill Him: A powerful figure asking that change be initiated on his behalf.
White clothes: White as a color of spirituality; a symbol of purity.
Entourage: Followers, helpers.
Staying Silent and just there: Acting as a witness; a support group.
What it Means:
The dream is an invitation to make a drastic change in your life. With Jesus as the main requester and target, the issue may relate to your spiritual path. Is your spiritual life in need of change such as weak or inconsistent practices or done without true belief or intensity? What made Jesus remarkable was how he focused on spirituality and went out of his way to love and sacrifice for others. By that standard, how do you rate?
If the dream is not about your spiritual life, it may relate to your father’s passing. Some believe that when a person dies, their soul lives on and at times can come back and communicate with loved ones. The few days after someone dies is one such window in time and many see a loved one who has just passed in the first few days after their death. It’s possible that your father, after crossing over, saw how important the spiritual dimension is and wanted to communicate that to you.
Or, the shock of your father’s passing may have touched a very deep part of your soul, putting you in touch with your spiritual journey.
Bottom Line: The dream is an invitation to change as a huge and intense change for whatever needs changing in you or in your life. Only you can pinpoint what that would be. Since Jesus died by cruxifiction which is a metaphor for sacrifice, the dream suggests that you will have to make sacrfices to achieve your best self.
