This One-Minute Video explains how to understand Your nightly dreams

In most dreams, as bestselling author Michaels explains in books and dream interpretation courses online — the overall STORY tends to be the key puzzle piece to decipher the meaning of your nightly dreams. This How-To video illustrates how to create a Story Line for your dream using general words like 'someone' and 'something.' You state the gist without adding specific details, then match the Story Line to something that resonates in your life, which leads to the meaning. YOU CAN DO THIS!

Follow these steps & the meaning of Tonight's Dream will pop out!

EXAMPLE DREAM: Someone texts as they drive which leads to a car crash. Ooops...
  • EMOTIONS. Feelings during the dream and as you wake up are the first clue. In this example, dreamer felt shock and distress.
  • STORY LINE. Create a Story Line. Use general words like 'someone' and 'something' to state the gist and core meaning without specific details. In this example you might say, "Someone who does not pay attention meets a negative consequence."
  • MATCH TO LIFE. Ask yourself how the story line resonates to an issue or question in your life. When you recognize the match-up, the message often clicks. In example, ask: "Where in me or my life could I be getting so distracted and not paying attention that it could trip me up, create a bad outcome?"
  • SYMBOLS. As a link to memories, symbols are unique to your personal experience... and your personal experience defines what the symbol means. Try this:
  • FIRST, as in this dream about a car crash, check experiences and/or memories about a car crash such as having one or seeing one on the road or in a movie etc. Review what that felt like and thoughts that ran through your mind at the time. Do any of those thoughts or feelings add insight to the story? Congratulations! You just applied Freud's symbol Association Method to discover what a symbol means.
  • AND/OR... review 'general' meanings of a car. For example, a car can be a metaphor about "your path" in life, or a goal or project that "motivates or drives" you, or a car may symbolize your body as the "vehicle that carries you through life." Congrats! That's one of Carl Jung's approach to symbols. Use these two methods to connect a symbol to a memory or experience and see how the connection might relate to the drea, story and/or shed light on your life.
  • WHAT YOUR NIGHTLY DREAMS MEAN. As you do these steps, an instant 'AHA' often emerges. IF THERE IS NO 'Aha', try a new Story Line. For example, a new version of the car dream might say: Someone does what they want instead of what they should, which brings consequences they don't like.
  • THE RANGE OF DREAM GUIDANCE. A dream can answer a question, give insights into a problem or a relationship, invite you to work on an attitude, suggest that you develop a talent, hint how to understand someone, and give you an ESP glimpse into the future. Plus more.
